"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."
Do you believe MLK Jr.'s dream has been realized? Are all races treated equally? What about genders, sexual orientations, religions, body sizes...what about men and women, boys and girls?
Because over 50 years ago when he gave this speech, MLK Jr. was not speaking only of racial equality. He was speaking of relationships and respect.
What is left of Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream that has yet to be realized?
What can we work towards in creating a culture that is truly equal?
(oh, and if you haven't heard his speech at least 50x ... listen to it again)
And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.
